Metropolitan University surprise in 11th National Rover Moot

11th National Rover Moot has begun with the theme “Shantimoy Jibon, Unnata Desh” (Peaceful Life, Developed Country) and where some 10,000 rover scouts from SAARC (The South Asian Association for Regional Cooperation) and the Asia-Pacific region have participated.

On 26th January Honorable Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina inaugurated the weeklong 11th National Rover Moot at Manikdah Housing Area in Gopalganj. Prime Minister hoped that the Ministry of Primary and Mass Education would take steps for expanding cub scouting in primary schools.

There were 15 attractive and challenging events arranged in the moot. Metropolitan University Rover Scout Group participated in the entire event and successfully completed all of the challenges.

Metropolitan University Rover Scout Group has achieved first position in 4 challenges and third in 2 challenges. It is really a delightful achievement by the Rover Scout Group for the University.
